They will help you with one-on-one coaching. frequent feedback, and personal meetings of your growth to help you develop the skills needed to lead a successful organization.

By showing progressive growth in this entry-level experience, we want you to become a trainer and share this knowledge with new team members. Being able to train effectively is a fundamental skill all leaders should possess.

Trainer Core Competencies

Mission for Trainer (FOH/BOH): To work with the Leadership Team and Team Members to execute the Winning Hearts Every Day Strategy by ensuring that team members in their area are trained according to brand standards and store policy by focusing on training goals.

Process:

  • Meet with Training Director or Talent/HR Director to become familiar with the role and responsibilities as well as meeting the requirements

  • If approved, Training/Talent Director will move forward with the process.

Outcomes

  • Meet outcomes of Team Member

  • 100% Pathways completion for area training (FOH/BOH)

  • Daily engagement with plans to ensure operational excellence and execution of training goals.

  • All Team Members trained according to Pathway using 3-Step Training Model

  • Work with Training/Talent Director to conduct training sessions when needed

Mission for Team Leader (FOH/BOH): To work with the Leadership Team to execute the Winning Hearts Every Day Strategy by ensuring that shifts are run according to brand standards and store policy.

Process:

  • Be a trainer for at least three months

  • Meet with Director to become familiar with the role and responsibilities as well as begin training using the Advancement Checklist and meeting those requirements.

Outcomes

  • Meet outcomes for Trainer

  • Daily Labor: <18.00%/Productivity $78+pmh

  • Execute disciplinary plans

  • Coach at least 3 emerging Trainers

Supervisor Core Competencies

Requirements

  • Be a Team Leader for a minimum of 6 months

  • Complete all checklists for all other levels of progression (excluding Cross-Trained)

  • Identify one area of the restaurant you feel could be improved upon

  • Create a written plan to address these issues and implement the plan
